This website, danthepaver.com, belongs to Dan The Paver, a family-owned asphalt paving contractor in New Jersey. When this policy says “we”, “us” or “our”, it means Dan The Paver. If you have any question about this policy, email us at danthepaverinc@aol.com or call 732-403-3053.
What we collect
Information you send us
Our website is a simple static site. It does not have user accounts, logins or online payments. The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to send us through our quote request form or by contacting us.
When you submit the form, it asks for your name, phone number, email address, town and a message about your project. The form is processed by a third-party form service (FormSubmit, or Formspree if we switch to it), which delivers your submission to our email inbox at danthepaverinc@aol.com. Formspree handles it under its own privacy policy.
If you call, text or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your number, your address for the estimate visit, and photos of your driveway or lot.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use our website, such as which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, what kind of device and browser they use, and roughly where in the world visits come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. It helps us improve the site; we do not use it to identify you personally.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that lets you opt out of Google Analytics.
How we use your information
We use the information you send us only to:
- Respond to your request and contact you about your project.
- Schedule and carry out a free estimate and, if you hire us, the work itself.
- Keep a record of the estimate and job for our own business records.
We do not add you to marketing lists without asking.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the services we use to run the site and our business, such as our form-delivery service (FormSubmit or Formspree) and our email provider, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and project information for as long as we need it to respond to you, do the work, and keep reasonable business records. After that, we delete it.
Your choices and deletion requests
You can ask us at any time what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email danthepaverinc@aol.com with your request and the name, phone or email you used to contact us. We will take care of it promptly. Note that we may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Children
This website is meant for adults who are arranging paving work. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted here.
